Morgan Supersport, room for the weekend.
A usable boot, two roof options and a new platform change how often you might reach for a coachbuilt roadster.

At the back of the Supersport there is a detail worth more attention than another photograph of its long bonnet. Morgan added a dedicated luggage compartment. The shape still looks like a coachbuilt two-seater, but the space it makes for a bag changes the kinds of journeys you might take in it.
Morgan introduced the Supersport in 2025 on its bonded aluminium CXV platform. Its roof arrangements include a folding soft top and an optional removable hard top, and the original model pairs a BMW straight-six with an automatic gearbox. The useful question is how these choices work together on a weekend away, when the weather turns and the car has to carry what you brought.
If you are considering one, use your own luggage to test the boot and ask the dealer to demonstrate both roof arrangements. Try it on the kinds of roads you drive most and check where it can be serviced. Familiar proportions can draw you towards a car. Fit, shelter and an easy departure make it one you might keep using.
