Brough Superior Lawrence, look at the front end.

Titanium, carbon fibre and an unconventional front suspension make the Lawrence worth examining beyond its historical name.

A famous motorcycle name can do too much of the explaining. With the modern Brough Superior Lawrence, it is more useful to begin at the front wheel. The suspension does not follow the familiar outline of a conventional telescopic fork.

Engineering before nostalgia

The manufacturer documents a Fior-type arrangement, with machined aluminium elements and titanium links, alongside a titanium frame and carbon-fibre bodywork. A liquid-cooled V-twin sits within that structure. The visible engineering gives the motorcycle its character before the story of T. E. Lawrence enters the conversation. The photograph shows the Ultimate version, whose finish and machined engine distinguish it within the Lawrence range.

This is a contemporary machine bearing a historic name. Its materials, workmanship and riding experience deserve to be judged on their own terms. The reputation or auction history of pre-war Brough Superiors cannot establish what a modern Lawrence will be worth. Small production also makes practical support more significant, not less.

Check the support behind the machine

See the exact specification, sit on the motorcycle and arrange a demonstration where available. Confirm approval for road use in your country, the servicing route and how specialist chassis or body parts would be supplied after damage. Regional specifications differ. For the right rider, the attraction is an unusually legible piece of mechanical design that can be used, rather than a heritage story kept under a cover.

Scope of this reading

The construction account follows manufacturer and regional distributor documentation, corroborated by launch reporting. WHV has not ridden the Lawrence or verified registration and parts availability in every market.
