Sprintbok lets the runner set the pace.

NOHRD’s curved wooden treadmill makes its moving surface visible. The belt is powered by the person using it.

A curved running surface supported by a timber frame gives the Sprintbok an unusually legible shape. The mechanism is part of its visual character. In a home where exercise equipment remains in view, that can matter as much as the screen mounted above it.

A belt powered by the runner

NOHRD describes the Sprintbok Vintage V2 as a self-powered treadmill with a slatted running surface. The runner supplies the movement rather than following a motor-driven belt set to a prescribed speed. The current specification includes a display, so self-powered running should not be confused with the absence of electronics.

The interesting value is a different relationship between effort and pace, housed in an object someone may be willing to keep in their living environment. It is not evidence that curved treadmills are universally better, quieter in every building or suitable for every runner. Those judgments require personal testing and relevant advice.

Try the exact model

Try the exact model before buying. Check delivery access, floor suitability, available space and the manufacturer’s operating instructions. Ask about belt and bearing service, display support and regional availability. At this scale, the quality of the ownership arrangement matters more than the novelty of the first run.
