The bag as a craft archive.
LOEWE’s Puzzle 10 makes a decade of experiments in leather visible through one recognisable construction. The interest is in the making, not the anniversary badge.

Some bags are identified mainly by a logo. The Puzzle can be recognised through the way its panels meet. That construction gave LOEWE a framework for experiments in colour, surface and technique. For its tenth anniversary in 2025, the house returned to nineteen earlier designs and added one new celebratory version.
One structure, many ways of making
Puzzle 10 is useful to read as a small craft archive. Across the collection, LOEWE identifies embroidery, appliqué, patchwork, cross-stitch and leather marquetry among the techniques. The FW15 Runway re-edition shown here uses changing shades of pink suede to emphasise the geometry. It is not evidence that every edition uses the same material or method.
The lasting value is a construction capable of carrying different ideas without losing its identity. This is more substantial than calling an anniversary bag collectible because it has a commemorative plate. A 2025 re-edition and an original from the earlier runway period are distinct objects, even when their appearance is closely related. Documentation should make that distinction easy to establish.
A re-edition is its own object
If one design interests you, inspect the exact edition, materials and condition, and ask LOEWE about current availability and care. Suede, smooth leather and elaborate surface work make different demands in use. Consider capacity, strap options and how the bag sits when carried. The best reason to own it is a combination of craft you enjoy looking at and a form you genuinely want to use.
