Hasselblad X2D II, what happens after the shutter.

A 100-megapixel camera makes the path from capture to finished image part of the purchase.

A large file is only the beginning of a photograph. Hasselblad’s X2D II 100C makes that particularly clear. Its high resolution and HDR tools can be useful in scenes where tonal transitions or fine surface detail matter, but the results have to travel through a real editing and delivery workflow.

The X-system lens choice is a longer commitment than any one camera body. Start with the angle of view and working distance you need. Then make a small set of your own pictures with a rented or demonstration kit, including a moving subject if that is part of your work.

Process the files on your usual computer and make a print at your usual size. Check storage, software compatibility and local service terms before buying. The decision is stronger when the camera solves a visible problem in your pictures and its files fit the way you work.
