DISCOVERY / Three-wheel Vehicles & Purposeful Design
A different kind of open road.
The Morgan Super 3 is not simply an old silhouette remade. Its aluminium structure, three-cylinder engine and side-mounted luggage express a particular way of travelling.

Two front wheels, one rear wheel and an exposed cockpit make the Morgan Super 3 instantly legible as something different. The more interesting discovery comes beneath that silhouette. This is a contemporary design with a particular engineering brief, not a claim that a historic-looking vehicle must be made like its ancestors.
The unusual shape has a job
Morgan specifies an aluminium modular monocoque, a naturally aspirated Ford three-cylinder engine and a five-speed manual gearbox. The broad side panels are part of a cooling solution and provide mounting points for accessories. The maker also describes side and rear luggage arrangements. These details connect the visual character to use, rather than treating every unconventional surface as decoration.
A vehicle this specific asks something of its owner. Exposure to weather, the shape of a trip, luggage requirements and the passenger’s comfort matter more than a photograph of an empty road. Registration and licensing rules also vary between markets. A three-wheeler’s legal classification is not something to infer from its position in a website’s car section.
Choose the experience before the specification
Visit a dealer, establish the requirements in your jurisdiction and try the actual driving position before choosing a configuration. Ask how service, storage and luggage would work for the journeys you plan. The appeal is not that three wheels automatically cost less to own or hold their price better. It is that a vehicle can offer a deliberately different relationship with a road, provided that difference fits the life around it.

Specifications come from Morgan and can vary by market and build. WHV has not driven or inspected a Super 3. Licensing, safety, service, costs and resale require evidence for the actual vehicle and jurisdiction.
