In the photograph, the front wheels of the green EVO37 are pointing across the direction in which the car is moving. It is a useful introduction to a design whose relationship to rallying is as much about the way it drives as the shape of the body. The example is Esmeralda, photographed on a circuit.
Kimera presents the EVO37 as a contemporary reinterpretation and documents a rear-drive layout, a longitudinal engine mounted behind the seats and a manual gearbox. The Lancia reference gives the project a starting point. What matters to someone considering an EVO37 is how the conversion was built, documented and supported as the particular car it has become.
Ask for the build record, the donor identity and the registration history in the country where you intend to use it. Get a specialist to explain what parts can be sourced and what work requires the builder. The appeal is the chance to drive a deliberate interpretation of a familiar idea, with enough documentation to know exactly what you are looking at.
